It’s award season! All the glitz and the glam, the dresses and the red carpet! Okay, to be honest I am not super duper into the award shows. I know, you may be confused since my first sentence was so excited, but what I mean is I don’t watch every single awards show, just the best ones. The Grammys and The Oscars.
When I was growing up, we didn’t have cable so there were no Nick at Nights or Are you Afraid of the Dark for me, let alone no MTV so we mostly watched movies and the occasional Star Trek Enterprise episode, yea you read that right! Anyone else have a huge crush on Wesley Crusher!?
Anyways, it created a time for us to get together as a family and award season was one of those times. The Grammys and The Oscars were the two that we watched. We would discuss the outfits, the people and the wins and most important we would snack on delicious treats!
I don’t know about you, but popcorn is one of my favorite snacks and it is perfect to eat while you are watching the award shows or pretty much anytime. These popcorn flavors are so good and there is something for everyone. Spicy, sweet and cheesy. What more could you want!?
These popcorn snacks would be great for an Oscars party. Put them out in big bowls and have cups for your guests to scoop their popcorn into. Add some gold glitter to the bowls for a little extra glitz and glam.
Quick Tip: Use paper soup bowls, you can find them at a restaurant supply store. Use a glue stick to put streaks of glue on the bowl and sprinkle with gold glitter.
Another great thing about these is that they are so easy to make. They have simple ingredients and easy steps. The only one that takes a little time is the bourbon caramel and let me tell you, it is worth the wait! Download all three recipes in an ecookbook by clicking below to have them all.
