My servers are located in the United States. I do not monitor information you disclose on my site nor do I accept any liability associated with your voluntary disclosure of the same.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Comments left on the site
When users leave comments on the site I collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the user’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
How long we retain your data
I will only keep your information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice will require me keeping your personal information for longer than I only retain personal data collected from users as long as (the user’s account it active) or otherwise for a limited period of time as long as I need it to fulfill the purposes for which I have initially collected it unless otherwise required by law.
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
How we keep your information safe?
I have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information I process.
