It’s that time of year again…spooky season! I can hardly wait to start putting my decorations up. Most years I am anxiously waiting for September to pass so I can start putting out my spooky decor. I have a rule for myself that I have to wait until the last weekend in September to start putting up Halloween decorations. It’s my way of ensuring that I am living in the moment and not rushing things. This year September flew by! I cannot believe it is over in just a few days. I am so ready to start decorating! Each year I like to add at least one new piece to my collection, so I have been shopping around for a few new additions this whole month. Take a look at my Halloween decor favorites and get inspired to spookify your home!
Skeleton Hands Serving Bowl | Pier 1 Imports
This candy dish is to die for (see what I did there?) It is so simple and creepy, and that shiny give it a classy vibe. Having a candy dish out during the holiday season is a great way to give guests a little snack, but also add decor.
Magic Eye Velvet Throw Pillow | Urban Outfitters
Holiday throw pillows will never go out of style. This magic eye pillow is perfect for the season but it doesn’t scream Halloween. It is a subtle addition to the spooky decor and the color breaks the mold. Also, its made with crushed velvet, so…sold!
I am in love with this glowing bat sign. It looks just like a neon sign but it is actually LED lights. No annoying buzzing is going to come from this sign. This sign is so fun and has a couple of different display settings.
Purple Spider Halloween String Lights | Kohl’s
It may be clear by now that I am into the purple this year. These little spider lights are great for table tops and centerpieces. Another subtle way to add some flair to your decor. They come with a 6-hour timer, so you can turn these on and forget about turning them off.
Le Cat Fortune Wooden Plaque | Ember Candle Co.
A good holiday print is a must for Halloween decor. This one is hand printed on wood and comes from one of my favorite shops; Ember Candle Co. They have a collection of great skeleton candles also, so check that out.
Pumpkin Unscented Candle | Pier 1 Imports
What is Halloween without pumpkin!? I love this candles for how big and bold it is. It is a pumpkin candle, no questions about that. This decorative candle would be perfectly mixed into a tabletop display.
Halloween Slate Tray | Nordstrom
Okay, so this tray is technically not “decor” but that is why I love it. It is functional decor. This serving tray has that subtle spooky going on that guests will love at your Halloween party. The Oujio board look is etched in and it is made out of slate which just adds to the look.
Black Metal Taper Candelabra | World Market
A classic black candelabra is one of the easiest ways to decorate for the season. It’s creepy and can be mixed into other decorations so easily. Plus, you can use it all year round if you want.
Crow Up Aluminum Decorative Accessory | Luisaviaroma
Crows are one of those classic Halloween symbols. This crow’s skull is so sleek but creepy. Each one is unique so it is one of a kind, something out won’t see everywhere.
