It’s October and that means all things Halloween! It’s my favorite holiday to decorate for, it is fun and I feel the most creative when decorating for it. Here are my Halloween decor favorites.
Raven String Lights | Crate and Barrel
These lights from Crate and Barrel are so simple and classy yet dark and spooky. Meant for indoor use, these would look nice hung on a mirror or on top of a mantel. The lighted eyes are not too bright, just a subtle glow that would mix well with other lighted decors. And they are on clearance, bonus!
Matte Orange Ceramic Pumpkin Casserole Baker | World Market
Okay, I know what you are thinking, this is a casserole baker, not decor but it is too cute and had to include it. Plus, who says it has to be used as a casserole baker? It could be a candy bowl filled with creepy candies or simply sitting on an entryway table next to a stack of classic horror books or a vase filled with cotton branches. Online they come in a set of four but they sell them individually in store.
Trick or Treat Linen Pillow | Amazon
A simple and classy Halloween pillow that is a classic fall color making it easy to pair with a number of other colorful pillows. I included a fall pillow in my fall decor favorites post that would pair perfectly with this one. The linen brings a little spooky farmhouse vibe and the circled branches add a whimsical feel. Throw pillows are an easy way to bring that holiday vibe for not too much of your hard-earned money.
How cool is this skull planter?! Skulls are a must in every Halloween decor, or at least that is what I think. This skull planter is realistic for a real creepy vibe but softened by the life growing on top. Each skull is handmade so no two skulls are alike, it also comes in white.
Large Skull Candle | Ember Candle Co
Staying on the skull theme, these candles from Ember Candle Co. are simply gorgeous! All candles are 100% sox wax and are made to order, come in several different sizes and colors, and there are 20 different scents you can choose from. Colorful Halloween decor is in – just check out this post from Lauren Conrad for some serious colorful Halloween inspiration. These candles make for the perfect pop of color in the blackness of Halloween.
Kisa Cat Candle | Uncommon Goods
The black cat has been a symbol of Halloween for years. I love the geometric design of this cat candle, it offers a sleek look. It has more than meets the eye and reveals a secret as you burn it. Once the candle starts to melt, it reveals the skeleton of the cat!
Fortune Telling Print | HorseAndHare
This couple run shop has one of a kind linocut and woodcut prints. Each one is hand-carved and made to order so yours will be like no others. This fortune telling print is mysterious and creepy, hang this in an entryway or hallway to bring that sophisticated spooky feeling to your home.
Simple and spooky curtains are a very easy way to decorate for Halloween. This witch curtain can be used in a door or window. I use mine on a window that looks onto my porch. I place a strobe or colored light behind it to enhance to creepy feel.
Spirit Board Mat | Grandin Road
Ouija boards have been a symbol of Halloween for years, it offers the same type of vibe as the fortune teller print, mysterious. This clever doormat shows your guest hello as they enter and goodbye as they leave which is fitting because you know what they say about playing with an Ouija board…always say goodbye.
