Most of us know the party season being during the holidays, oh all the ugly sweater parties, but my favorite party seasons is spring into summer. The first day of Spring was two days ago as the sun starts to return so will the number of bridal showers, baby showers, weddings, and summer BBQs. I don’t know if it is the warmth, the colorful decor, or the yummy treats but hosting in the warmer seasons is just so fun. Whatever season it may be, hosting is a lot of work. We all know the feeling, planning for weeks, creating your vision and running around the house minutes before guests are to arrive getting everything into place. It can be exhausting. Good thing the reward of spending time with loved ones, making memories and seeing your vision come to life makes it well worth the work.
As a guest to parties that is also a regular hostess, I like to bring a hostess gift as a way to say thank you. Hostess gifts are not mandatory and I don’t bring one to every party but it is nice for a friend that you know put a lot of work in. I most regularly bring hostess gifts to parties that the host has taken the responsibility for a friend or family member like bridal or baby showers.
Like my favorite party season, these hostess gifts are fun, stylish and something the hostess can actually use. In addition to that, they are also inexpensive (seriously, they are all under $30!) Take a look at my gift guide for the hostess and start stocking up on fun gifts for your upcoming parties.
Delaney Measuring Spoon Set | Anthropologie
These are such sweet measuring spoons. I fell in love as soon as I saw them. The rose gold shines beautifully and the safety pin that holds them together is unique. These would be perfect for the hostess that loves to bake or who has a stylish kitchen.
Coming In Hot Mug | Urban Outfitters
We all have that friend that loves mugs and has a huge collection. If that friend hosts a party this is the mug for them! It’s a simple mug and the message is cute and funny. I also love the 90s vibe that Urban Outfitters is so good at.
Himalayan Salt Tequila Glasses | Uncommon Goods
Salt is a must for tequila shots, why not skip the shaker and put the shot glass and salt together? These shot glasses are made from Himalayan sea salt, one of the prettiest salts with that pink glow. A fun gift for a party (who knows you may break them out and try them at the party) and the salt is naturally anti-bacterial – always a plus.
Old Dutch Hammered Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper shakers | Gilt
Salt and pepper shakers are a great hostess gift. They are an easy choice that everyone can use and you know your hostess will use them again because she obviously enjoys entertaining. Let’s not forget that brass color with the stainless steel, too good.
Essential Coffee Tools 3 Piece Gift Set | World Market
This coffee gift set is the perfect gift for a brunch party or that friend that appreciates anything coffee. It includes a stainless steel scoop that has a gold finish, a frother and a time for ideal brewing times. Already packaged and in a stylish box that has instructions printed right on the front.
Portofino Peony Petals Small Hex Candle | Nordstrom Rack
You can’t go wrong with a candle. Especially one that is this sweet and simple like this one and that color is soft but vibrant. Easily could fit into any decor style and the option to hang makes it even better.
Lab Flask Vase | Urban Outfitters
This vase is a little unique, which I love. The lab flask shape is something you don’t see often in a vase; perfect for that friend who has a specific style. The porous clay top clashes perfectly with the terracotta texture on the bottom.
Torre & Tagus Safari Elephant Wall Vase | Gilt
Another vase, I know but look at it! It’s an elephant and it’s a wall vase. Wall vases can add simple style to any space and this one would be great to mix with different patterns and colors. Plus, each vase is handcrafted in beautiful white porcelain.
Gold Hammered Sentiment Servers | World Market
These spoons may be my favorite gift on the list. The hammered gold finish is divine and the cute phrases are clever. These would bring a little fun to any table and comes boxed for easy gifting.
