The fall season is coming up fast! Summer seems to have flown by once again and although it was a good summer this year; Portland broke a record of 30 straight days of 90-degree weather! I am really starting to get excited for fall. It has always been my favorite season, a big part of it is the nostalgia. The smell of those crisp fall mornings can bring me straight back to growing up; waiting at the bus stop, playing in the leaves and going to the pumpkin patch. But of course, my favorite part of fall is the beautiful decor (okay, maybe Halloween is my favorite part, but we will save that talk for later posts). The colors are gorgeous, the golds and the coppers are a dream. When the temp starts to drop and those cloudy mornings arrive, I just can’t help but to start searching for decor!

I try to add at least one new fall decor piece per year. It is usually more like two or three but let’s be honest, a lot of shopping for fall decor is dreaming about it. What it would be like if I could add all the pieces and turn my home into a fall wonderland. I gathered these favorites while living in my dream and decorating my home in my head. Park Hill Pumpkin Seed Framed Print | Dillard’s

A rustic autumn sign is a must for the season. I love that this sign is pumpkin seeds. It strays from the classic pumpkin patch or hayride signs. This distressed look is perfect and I love the soft colors.

Antiqued Mercury Votive Holders | Pottery Barn

Mercury glass is gorgeous and is one of my favorites for votive holders. The candlelight shimmers through the glass and those colors are perfect for fall! That one on the middle shelf looks very close to a pumpkin.

Small Metallic Pumpkins | Pier 1 Imports

You gotta have pumpkins! These small pumpkins are great for easy decorating. Put them in a bowl as shown or a vase, pitcher or even a wooden box. The colors have such a gleam and complement each other so well.

Lillian Brass Metal Lantern | Crate & Barrel

These lanterns are so simply beautiful. The brass frames have a little bit of a distressed look and I love the shape. These would be great for indoor or outdoors and you can fill them with so many different things. Maybe those pumpkins we were just talking about.

I can’t get over this doormat! I love it! It is so simple and sweet. The phrase is spot on for the season and the font is amazing. This would be a perfect addition for a lovely fall front porch.

Oak Leaf Garland | Crate & Barrel

This garland is a pop of yellow and a great size. It looks lovely around a door frame, but this piece of decor can be reused in so many ways. On a mantel, on a table display even made into a quick wreath.

Fresh Ginger 3-Wick Filled Candle | Pier 1 Imports

The bright color of this candle screams fall but in a more modern and less rustic way. Fresh ginger isn’t the first scent you would think of for fall but it is a strong scent that will freshen up your space.

What would fall be without a big chunky blanket? One of the best parts of fall is wrapping up in a blanket and sitting on the porch to enjoy that crisp air. These basketweave blankets are perfect for that. The colors are beautiful and will cozy up easily with your other decor.
