Fall Decor Favorites

Fall is one of the most beautiful seasons and one that is so fun to find stunning home decor pieces. The vibrant colors from outside can be brought inside to create a warm and cozy home. Take a look at some of my fall decor favorites.

It’s September! you know what that means…fall time! It may still be summer out there (seriously, it’s in the 90s in Portland right now!) but fall is right around the corner. I love fall for so many reasons, the colors, smells, but mostly because it is my favorite home decor season. The decor is just so dang cute and cozy! I could scroll through Pinterest for hours drooling over fall decor inspirations, which is pretty much what I have been doing since mid-August. I’ll be honest though, I do this for every season. I posted back in April about my home decor wish list for the upcoming spring season, I just love to dream of home decor.  I also love sharing my finds with all of you, so here are my fall decor favorites.

What I love about these finds is that you can put them up in September and leave them up until end of November. They work well with every month. September which is half summer, through Halloween time and into November when fall is at its peak.  Just add and remove decorations around them through the holidays, makes life a little bit easier.

Come in and Cozy up Doormat | West Elm

This doormat is so cute. It’s the perfect saying for the time of year. The weather is just cool enough that all you want to do is come in and cozy up. This doormat could be left up through December and if you are in a place like Portland where it rains for months, leave it up all the way through to spring.

Pumpkin Jar Candle | Anthropologie 

This candle is fall! You look at it and think pumpkin, the color is spot on and standing alone it is beautiful. Orange is the color of fall and therefore this candle will last months and add a pop of glittery color to your home decor.

Black & Gold Matches | Freckled Hen Farmhouse

I don’t know what it is about decorative matches, but I love them. They are so simple and sweet and if you have a candle in your home (which I hope you do) long matches make it much easier to light a burnt down candle. Plus, they add a little bit of decor. These have a gothic look to them which would fit right in through Halloween.

Orange Pumpkin Pillow Cover | Society6

This pillow cover is just adorable! Just looking at it makes me want a pumpkin spice latte. The watercolor look is so sweet and it would be easy to add a spooky pillow for it to pair with for Halloween. It comes from Craftberry Bush, a great shop on Society6. She also has a sweet blog that is a must follow!

Dunston Plain Throw | Pottery Barn 

You don’t get more fall than a plaid throw blanket. You need something to wrap up in to sip on some warm tea and enjoy the season’s colors (I can’t wait to do this!!). The different color varieties make it easy to find one that vibes with your decor style.

Of course, if you have fall throw blankets a basket helps to keep them neat and pretty when you are not using them.  This simple gold basket is the right style for the season and can be left up all year long. There is also a square version, which I think is equally as stylish as this one.

Eco Deer Wall Planter | EcoDeer

I absolutely love these wall planters! Meant to look like the antlers of a deer, they are from a cool little Etsy shop. This has endless opportunity to bring the current season into your home.  During fall try cotton or maple tree branches. During Halloween, dead branches with bats or crows perched on them. Just imagine all the opportunities to decorate with the season’s colors.

Gold Rim Agate Coasters | lilpengeeGems

I have had my eye on agate coasters for a while now. I love the gold painted rim and they would serve as sturdy, stylish coasters (nothing worse than a coaster sticking to your glass). This color is right on for the season but, this Etsy shop has tons of different colors to choose from.

Realistic Pumpkins | Pier1

Decorative pumpkins, like the little black dress of fall decor, it’s a must have! These are so cute and can be used in several different ways; on a table display under a covered porch, they could be very versatile. Have these for years to come as easy fall decor.
