Home decor is something I have loved my whole life, I am constantly feeling like I want to update parts of my house. As soon as I am happy with one area, I am thinking about updating another area. Well, I have had the home decor itch lately. Do you ever look at a room and think, ugh I am over this entire look. My bedroom is that room for me. It is the room that got forgotten about after we moved in. I kept saying, “we will do the bedroom next” and next turned into years and guess what? I still hate the room. That is not good for my home balance! So I decided that I needed to update the bedroom, ya know for my health.

Shopping around for home decor is always fun but when you have a project in mind, it’s a blast! The vision and excitement start to flow, but it can also be a little disheartening when your eye catches the prices. It can cause a 180° on all your home decor dreams, but not to worry! In my inspiration to re-do my bedroom and to be honest my living room needs updating too, I have found some beautiful pieces that will brighten up the home and add a fresh look.

A simple, beautiful candle. These come in four different colors and scents that are blended with essential oils. The scents are meant to manifest a specific emotion which makes them great for meditation, pretty cool right? Plus they have that natural looking wood wick and there is a little crystal at the bottom of each candle.

Perfect for a bright minimalistic space, this concrete lamp with a little wood finish is a great modern piece. The pop of yellow from the inside of the lamp adds a great bit of color. Great for a small space, over a kitchen island or maybe over two bedside stands.
