It’s that time of year again! I am practically jumping out of my seat I am so excited. Spring is slowly growing towards us and I can’t hardly wait. I think I was ready for Spring, oh I don’t know, right after the New Years countdown. The holidays keep me so distracted during the bulk of the colder and gloomy (I am in Portland after all) months so once January is here all the distractions are gone and I am practically dying for spring time.
I don’t know about you but after the holidays are over I am always in the mood to refresh. That usually causes me to splurge a little too much on my self in the name of refreshing my home. This year was a doozy. I couldn’t stop “justifying” things that I really didn’t need but absolutely wanted. I don’t know if it is the “New Year, New You” vibe that is everywhere this time of year but I can’t stop shopping!
I’ll be honest though, I am not mad about it. I am very aware of it and know at some point I need to take a chill pill, but today is not that day. It’s good to spend a little of that hard earned money of yourself from time to time. Don’t over do it of course but just something here and there. I am being very much the anti-Marie Kondo right now. Does it bring you joy? It does? Okay, buy it.
This shop till you drop attitude created a mini refresh to my home decor after the holidays were over and added some pieces like this terrarium that I am in love with. I am ready to add a couple more things and since I have been scrolling through gorgeous decor, check out my spring decor favorites.
Blush Pink Herringbone Chenille Throw Blanket | Cost Plus World Market
Can you have too many throw rugs? This soft pink throw rug is so pretty and perfect for this time of year.
Sorbus Copper Wire Metal Desk Organizer | Hautelook
This copper desk organizer is simple and pretty. Use it on your office desk or as a magazine rack in the living room.
Copper Wire Terrarium | West Elm
Terrariums are simple, pretty and easy to manage. This open terrarium adds a bit of nature to your decor. I love the attitude that this one has with the gold stand.
Newgate Covent Alarm Clock | Anthropologie
This desk clock has a vintage vibe and the soft color will go with most decor. Perfect for a bedside table or in the office.
A MANO Ceramic Planter | West Elm
You can never have too many planters! These ceramic planters are hand made and decorated.
Hourglasses are a great decor option. They are simple, go with most decor styles and they are kinds fun! The wood stand adds style and I love the black sand option.
Rose Gold Mercury Glass Hurricane Candleholder | Cost Plus World Market
Mercury glass is so pretty! This glass makes beautiful candle holders because the light will bounce off the already flickering surface. The color has a burnt look to it, which I love.
Ariana Ost Crystal Moon Dish | Urban Outfitters
This trinket tray is so simple and cute. It is etched brass and also comes in copper. A perfect place for jewelry to rest or those random bobby pins.
Geo Tufted Tassel Throw Pillow | Urban Outfitters
I can’t not add a throw pillow into my favorites. They are like throw blankets, you can’t go wrong. These colors are amazing and the tassels add to the style.

Spring colors usually don’t do much for me, because I really don’t like pastels. BUT, I love charcoal grey and copper…these are great ways to tone down the pink it looks like! I can do that! Thanks.

Spring can be pastel overload. The copper is one of my favorites for home decor. Thanks for stopping by!
